Dr Jonathan Belsey is the Managing Director of JB Medical. He has a professional background in both primary care and public health and has worked as Medical Advisor and Head of Clinical Development within a UK Health Authority.
Over the past 21 years he has overseen the development of JB Medical into one of the foremost market access consultancies in the country. Using the tools of evidence-based medicine and disease modelling he has evolved approaches to market access that meet the needs of an increasingly outcomes-focussed healthcare environment.
With a proven publishing record encompassing the fields of epidemiology, meta-analysis and health economics, Jonathan is able to bring professional credibility to the programmes that JB Medical devise, ensuring that the end products meet your objectives and the needs of the target audience.
Working as part of the integrated JB Medical team, his input complements our service at every level, from strategic planning to tactical implementation.

Tricia Dixon is a Director of JB Medical and has worked in healthcare communications and consultancy for over 25 years, gaining considerable experience across a wide range of disease areas.
Tricia is an experienced medical writer, she makes complex concepts easy to understand and believes that medical writing should 'tell a story' backed up by the relevant evidence-base.
She has written extensively and has produced a wide variety of materials across different media, including value messages, dossiers for HTA bodies, marketing materials and clinical papers published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
One of Tricia’s key roles is to ensure that clients’ marketing objectives are being met and that we consistently deliver the highest quality of work to our clients.
Tricia has considerable expertise in project management, particularly in guiding projects through pharmaceutical approval systems and the HTA process.

Eric qualified from the University of Parma, Italy with an BSc in Economics and Finance in 2009. He subsequently gained an MSc in Health Economics from City University in London in 2012. He joined JB Medical in 2013 and carries out data analyses and health economic modelling.
He has provided analytical support for European HTA assessments in his time with the company, using his skills in indirect treatment comparison, meta-regression analysis and health economic modelling to provide the technical background to our submissions.
He is skilled in the use of VBA and R, both of which are integral tools in the analytical process. He ensures that the company is kept up to date of novel techniques, most recently adding Matching Adjusted Indirect Comparison and Fractional Polynomial Survival Analysis to our portfolio of skills.
Working alongside the rest of the team, he is able to ensure that regardless of the data analytical technique required, we are able to provide our clients with the input necessary to secure HTA approval.

We work closely with Crystallise, a bespoke information consultancy which conducts literature review services, medical mortality modelling, data analysis and evidence surveillance for the finance, healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
Crystallise use their free heoro.com database of pre-indexed studies relevant to health economics and outcomes research to broaden the scope of a systematic review without increasing costs or timelines.
They use evidence maps to increase the transparency and comprehensiveness of targeted reviews.
Their modelling team combine medical, programming, economic and statistical skills with experience working in the pharmaceutical, finance and healthcare sectors to find innovative solutions for mortality, infectious disease and economic modelling.
