Patient recruitment started in February 2021 and will be completed by the end of 2021. Patients will be followed for 2 years and primary outcome measures include fasting plasma glucose, blood pressure, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein and waist circumference.
We've been working with the academics involved in this study on the statistical analysis plan and the protocol has now been published. For more details see the paper.
Now we just need to wait until the patients have been recruited and completed the study before we get to analyse the results !

We've just published a paper in the Journal of Medical Economics showing that adding the Parkinson’s KinetiGraph (the PKG, a wrist-worn movement recording device that collates continuous, objective, data during daily activities in people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) providing a report for clinicians) to standard monitoring of PD is a cost-effective option.
